Successful 2nd Annual QHN Charity Golf Tournament

Edited2With record-breaking attendance, the 2nd Annual Quarter Horse News Charity Golf Tournament was held June 12, at the Canyon West Golf Club in Weatherford, Texas. The event benefitted Western Wishes, a charity with large support from the Western performance industry.


Fifteen teams, who took advantage of the ideal weather conditions and breathtaking scenery, competed in the golf tournament. The winning team received Gist Silversmith belt buckles to show off to their friends and family.

A silent auction accompanied the golf tournament and offered items such as a weekend getaway to the Sundance Club, a wine tasting and tour at Times Ten Cellars Fort Worth and other great prizes.

EditedWynn Williams paused for a photo opportunity with the kids.When the golfers were finished on the green, participants, as well as other supporters, settled into the clubhouse for the Rank Rodeo Threads After Party. The party was complete with delicious fajitas and live music from local country artist Wynn Williams and band, The Hazers.
