Mahindra USA Awards $32,000 In Scholarships

Twenty high school graduates received college scholarships totaling $32,000 from Mahindra USA in recognition of their scholastic achievements and involvement in their local high school’s agricultural-focused clubs and activities. Mahindra offers scholarships under three specific programs: Women In Ag and Urban Ag scholarships in conjunction with the national Future Farmer’s of America organization, and Mahindra Texas Pride scholarships offered jointly with the Career and Technology Association of Texas, Inc.

“It is truly rewarding to provide scholarships to these exceptional high school students. It is a privilege to put our Mahindra Rise initiative of driving positive change to work in the lives of these young people through our extensive scholarship program,” said Cleo Franklin, Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Planning, Mahindra USA. “With our committed investment in today’s youth, the future of our industry is bright and it looks like we will be in good hands.”

“We appreciate Mahindra’s dedicated support of tomorrow’s leaders in agriculture through these national FFA scholarships,” said Molly Ball, National FFA Foundation president. “These FFA members and agricultural education students work hard to earn this support to further their education and this opportunity is a great support to furthering their career aspirations.”

“CTAT is proud to partner with Mahindra USA in support of college scholarships. Together, we believe that educating young people in career and technical education results in high student achievement and aids in advancing students to postsecondary education and a globally competitive workforce,” said Robin Painovich, Executive Director, CTAT. “CTE students are among the nation’s most productive, innovative and dedicated students, and we are honored to recognize their achievements by providing scholarships to further their education.”
