New Reining Show Scheduled In Austria

high-class-reiningEurope has another top reining event – the High Class Reining, a $120,000-added National Reining Horse Association (NRHA)-approved event at Weikersdorf, Austria, scheduled for July 22-25. The main sponsor is Sabine Lisec and Chuck Klipfel’s KL Performance Horses, who also support other renowned NRHA events like the NRHA European Futurity in Kreuth, Germany, and the NRHA European Derby in Italy.

For years, Weikersdorf has been the location of the Austrian Quarter Horse Association Championships and the Austrian State Championship. In 2013, Elli and Jorg Preimesberger bought the facility and founded the High Class Horse Center – a beautiful facility specialized on the needs of show horses and their riders. Today, it is one of Austria‘s main centres for Dressage and Western riding. It is also the home of Austrian reiner Markus Morawitz, who claimed team bronze at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
