Photo by Ted PetitWe’ve got something special for this week’s #WednesdayWowFactor! In 2011, the stellar mare Dont Look Twice and Phil Rapp topped $600,000 in career earnings at the El Rancho Futurity in Rancho Murieta, Calif. If that weren’t enough, the mare and Rapp teamed up for an unplanned bridleless run. If this still isn’t enough Wow Factor for you, we’ve also got the video of the run!

The 2005 mare (High Brow Cat x Tapt Twice x Dual Pep), know as “Lipstick”,  headed to Rancho Murieta, Calif., with $598,999 in career earnings, according to Equi-Stat, a statistical division of Cowboy Publishing Group. She and Rapp set a new single-run National Cutting Horse Association record with a 234 to win the Mercuria/NCHA World Series of Cutting Open finals Sept. 4 in Nampa, Idaho, after winning the Classic/Challenge Open finals of the Idaho Futurity and Aged Event in the same arena earlier the same day.

Dont Look Twice is the all-time leading mare in show-pen earnings, with more than $820,000 to her credit, all earned with Phil Rapp in the saddle.
