So, National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) Stakes exhibitors…you say you have an awesome fence horse? The NRCHA is going to give you the chance to prove it in the Smart Boons $10,000-added Fence Challenge.
The NRCHA Stakes, one of five NRCHA Premiere Events, will be held March 29-April 4 at the South Point Equestrian Center in Las Vegas. The Smart Boons Fence Challenge will take place on Friday, April 3, at approximately 7 p.m. The competition consists of a single run: cow work only, no rein work.
With an entry fee of $300, the Smart Boons Fence Challenge will be run in one division that is open to any horse and any rider. Non-pros can enter, but must follow all non-pro eligibility and rules according to the NRCHA Rule Book. $200 of the entry fee is add-back, with the payout determined according to NRCHA rule 7.2.
Each horse and rider combination may enter only one time. This is a non-sanctioned event and will not count toward NRCHA lifetime earnings for horse or rider.
Entry forms can be found on the NRCHA’s website, and entries close on April 3 at 12 noon. Before March 26, send entry to: [email protected] or fax 940-488-1499. After March 26, enter in the show office at the NRCHA Stakes.
