NRHA Rule Change Proposals Due March 15

NRHA logo BWSuggested edits to the National Reining Horse Association’s (NRHA) Handbook are due to the NRHA office no later than March 15. NRHA members are encouraged to visit nrha.com/forms to download the official Rule Change Proposal form. Rule changes that are suggested by members will be reviewed at the NRHA Board of Directors meeting May 7-9, and will possibly be adopted for the 2016 rulebook later this summer during a second board meeting.

“NRHA members are at the core of our program offerings and event rules. We strongly welcome member input to review the current rules and regulations of the association to help NRHA to continue offering a fair and balanced competitive environment for everyone. This process is the perfect way for members to share ideas with the board and committees, as both groups will discuss them thoroughly prior to the board’s final vote in August,” said Gary Carpenter, NRHA Commissioner.

In order to submit a rule change proposal, members must download the official NRHA Rule Change Proposal form, complete it in its entirety and submit all support material to justify the recommended change to NRHA by 11:59 p.m. CDT, March 15. Rule change proposals received after this time and date will not be considered for review.

Although postmark dates are not accepted, members can mail suggested rule changes to be delivered no later than March 15 to: National Reining Horse Association, ATTN: Rule Change Proposal, 3000 NW 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73107

Rule changes will also be accepted via fax at (405) 946-8425 or via email to Jamie Boller at [email protected]. For more information about submitting a rule change, please contact the NRHA at 405-946-7400.
