AustriaRHALogoFrom Aug. 19-22, 2015, the H&D Schulz Quarter Horses facility in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, will host again one of the most prestigious reining events of Europe: the $80,000-added Austrian Reining Horse Association (ARHA) Futurity and National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Show.

The total purse includes $30,000 added for 3-year-old horses alone in the Level 4 Open. Entries after this date will be accepted, but a late entry fee will have to be charged.

The ARHA Futurity, for 3-and 4-year-olds, is open to all horses. There are four levels in the NRHA-approved Open and three in the Non Pro. The ancillary classes are part of the ARHA Circuit. The judges are Eugenio Latorre, Pierre Ouellet, Adi Wagner, Francois Zurcher and Sylvia Katschker. The equipment judge is Tomas Barta.

The Score will be covering all of the action again this year. The daily show magazine has always been highly appreciated by the exhibitors and owners present, as well by others following the action online through the Futurity’s website, www.futurity.at, and on www.westernstar.at.

Each year, several international horse publications report on this event, as do the local media. In 2014, a television team present during the show produced a 29-minute film, “Feicht on Tour in Wiener Neustadt,” presented on W24 – a channel ranking in fifth place in UPC Telekabel after ORF, ATV and Puls4. There was so much positive feedback, the film was shown 11 times on various days and at various times, reaching about 200,000 people, according to Teletest. The online edition via www.feicht.at has been viewed 54,237 times since its first publication, with 3 percent of viewers residing in the United States.
