National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Futurity is scheduled to take place Nov. 27-Dec. 5 in Oklahoma City. Exhibitors planning to attend this pinnacle event to vie for an estimated total cash purse and prizes of more than $2 million must send the first of five payments to the NRHA with a postmarked date no later than Feb. 1 to avoid late fees. The 2015
Payments for the 2015 Futurity are due Feb. 1 ($275), April 1 ($410), June 1 ($500), August 1 ($500) and Oct. 1 ($545). In a concerted effort to make payment deadlines more accommodating for owners and competitors, the NRHA’s board of directors voted to adjust the payment schedule from six payments to five throughout the calendar year. Streamlining the payment schedule in this format greatly reduced the stress of meeting the old deadline, and removed the fear of sending late payments due to the busy holiday season.
