Bill RichardsonWilliam Mac “Bill” Richardson, 53, the last owner of the late Smart Chic Olena, passed away at his residence in Whitesboro, Texas, Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 9, at J. L. Arena, 10801 E. Hwy 82 Whitesboro, Texas.
Bill was born in Sunnyvale, Texas, April 30, 1961 to Marvin and Rachel (Duckworth) Richardson. He was a well-known horseman throughout the country and traded many horses in his day, starting at the age of 13. He moved to Whitesboro in early 2000, loving his life there. He loved with his whole heart and soul, and was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his daughter, Marka Parsons and husband, Garrett of Leavenworth, Kansas; mother, Rachel Richardson of Royse City, Texas and Elaine Pinson of Longview, Texas, and grandson, Pate Parsons of Leavenworth, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Richardson, and many other family members.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name has been set up at the First State Bank, 801 East California Street, Gainesville, Texas 76240.
