Bill Richardson Estate Sale Set For Jan. 1

the-last-trade“The Last Trade” estate sale has been planned for Jan. 1, 2015, at B and R Ranch, in Whitesboro, Texas, following the death of owner Bill Richardson. Horses, equipment, trailers and tack will sell, beginning at 11 a.m. at the JL Arena. Nearly 50 horses will be offered for sale, including several well-bred stallions and mares from proven cutting, reining and reined cow horse lines.

Among them are 1999 stallion Tamulenas Wayto Play (Tamulena x Playboys Serena x Freckles Playboy), a cutting earner of $36,306 who was a top 15 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) $10,000 Novice Horse.

Alittle Fasterchoice, a 2011 bay stallion, is another of the sale’s offerings. The son of SR Instant Choice is out of the Peppy San Badger mare Twistin Alittle. After garnering $130,727 in her own cutting career, Twistin Alittle has gone on to produce four money-earners with a total progeny record of more than $86,000. Her leading performer, Twist N Choice ($39,130), is a full brother to Alittle Fasterchoice.

The 2011 sorrel gelding Walla Walla StepStep boasts royal reining bloodlines. He is sired by Equi-Stat Elite $7 Million Sire Wimpys Little Step and out of the great producing mare Shiney Walla Wanda (Shining Spark x Walla Walla Wanda x Taris Catalyst). Shiney Walla Wanda may have only earned $228 as a performer, but in the broodmare barn, she has amassed offspring earnings of $281,241. Among Walla Walla Stepstep’s half-siblings is Walla Walla Whiz ($187,817), a successful reining sire in his own right.
