World’s Greatest Box Seats Available

CelebrationofChampions logoGet them while they’re hot! Box seats and general admission tickets for the 2014 National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA) World’s Greatest Horseman finals are on sale now.

The World’s Greatest Horseman finals will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. The reined cow horse industry’s finest will vie for the title by competing in four demanding events: herd work, rein work, steer stopping and fence work, in a true test of the all-around horse and horseman.

Created in 1999, the competition celebrates the tradition of the original California vaquero, and highlights the final stage of training – the bridle. Entries compete in the preliminary round, with the top 10 and ties advancing to the clean-slate finals.

This year, the World’s Greatest Horseman finalists will ride for the title in the historic Will Rogers Coliseum. In its 78-year lifespan, this venue has hosted not only the equine elite, but also entertainment legends ranging from Jack Benny to the Rolling Stones.

The World’s Greatest Horseman is the headline event at the National Reined Cow Horse Association Celebration of Champions, Feb. 14 – 22, 2014, in Fort Worth.

Scoring the action at the 2014 Celebration of Champions will be judges Tom Buckingham, Bobby Ingersoll and Smoky Pritchett.

The Celebration of Champions rein work patterns are planned as follows:

Aaron Ranch Cow Horse Classic: Pattern 3
