Horses Paraded Through Streets Of Paris In Protest

On Sunday, Nov. 24, thousands of horses and their riders paraded through Paris, France, in protest. A planned sales tax increase will shut down riding centers, forcing thousands into unemployment and an estimated 80,000 horses will be sent to slaughter, the protesters claim.

Supporters marched with their animals, wore horse masks and wheeled a guillotine through the streets.
