Auction of Al Dunning’s Personal Collection

AlDunningSaleThe sale will feature around 400 high-quality items.On Saturday, Oct. 12, renowned horseman Al Dunning will offer a selection of his personal bit and equipment collection at auction. The auction, hosted by A&S Auction Company in Waco, Texas, will begin at 10 a.m.
Among the items available are Klapper bits, Dave Murray bits and collector hackamores, spurs and bronzes that Dunning has accumulated while operating his Almosta Ranch in Arizona since 1970. Other consigned items range from sporting guns and antique firearms to Western art. A complete list of the approximately 400 items, with photos and descriptions of each lot, is available online.

Dunning, a respected trainer in the reining, cutting and cow horse industries, was named American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Professional Horseman of the Year in 1996. He has earned countless titles in show pens all over the country.
