AQHA Reverts To Old Database On April 15

After initially announcing the launch of a new, improved database on March 5, the American Quarter Horse Association is reverting back to the existing database on April 15. A statement issued by AQHA Executive Vice President Don Treadway states: “Since this decision to go live on March 5, we have found the system is not performing up to either party’s [outside IT company and AQHA staff] level of expectation. Despite near 24/7 efforts by both parties, as of April 1, the new database is not at an acceptable level of performance or stability – it is simply not ready.”
