Lou Workman Passes

Horseman and long time reining enthusiast, Lou Workman, 88, Pilesgrove, N.J., passed away March 10. Funeral services were held March 14 in Woodstown, N.J. Workman was an US Army Veteran of WWII and owned and operated Workman’s Welding in Pilesgrove for over 50 years. He also enjoyed raising Quarter Horses and showing them nationally. Workman bred many reining super-stars including American Quarter Horse Association World Champion Workmans Joe, Big Bob Cody and Paprika Cody. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Esther and three sons, Edward, Leslie and Mark.
