This year’s event is hosted by the Four Sixes Ranch in Guthrie, Texas, and presents the industry the finest in ranch horse, cutting, reining, reined cowhorse, roping and barrel racing bloodlines. The sale offers 125-150 head of a quality horses that include weanlings, yearlings, 2-year-olds, fillies and stallion prospects.  A demonstration of sale horses will be held on Sept. 24, followed by the sale on Sept. 25.

As an expression of appreciation, the ranches participating in the sale are collectively donating one weanling filly from Four Sixes Ranch to be raffled off immediately following the last lot number offered in the sale. Only buyers in the sale will have a chance to win this filly; therefore, the more horses purchased, the greater chance to win. The winner has to be present to win at the time the winning ticket is drawn.

Also, an American Quarter Horse Foundation Benefit Auction, including numerous ranch-type memorabilia, will be held. Proceeds benefit the American Quarter Horse Foundation which supports equine research, America’s Horse Care Therapeutic Riding, and the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum.
