Tom McCutcheon and clinic participant Caitie Bellinger
From beginning to advanced maneuvers, the first Wednesday “Fun Night” on March 31, sponsored by Kentucky Lake Trailer Sales, at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses offered instruction from top reining professionals. Participants from around the Aubrey, Texas, area hauled in their horses to take advantage of the first-night free event.
Every Wednesday night, except during the NRBC and NRHA Derby, Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses will host mini-clinics with Tom McCutcheon, Sebastian Petroll and Joe Schmidt. They will be posting a calendar of events on their Web site at www.tmccutcheon.com and on their Facebook page, as well. The cost for the Wednsday night clincs is $50. McCutcheon can be reached at 940-390-7433.
Clinic participants enjoyed instruction from top reining pros.
Participants can also celebrate the 4th of July with the McCutcheons. They will be having a two-day event, where Tom McCutcheon, Sebastian Petroll and Joe Schmidt will be available to teach everything from loading horses in the trailer, round pen and ground work, to top reining maneuvers. They will be having demonstrations of their rehab and breeding facilities and answering any questions. They will also have stalls available. The cost is $125 per day or $250 for both days.
Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses is also offering the opportunity to own a royally bred NRHA Futurity prospect. Another Gunner Nite is a 2008 mare by NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Gunner and out of Mifs Doll. Mifs Doll has produced earners of more than $200,000, including NRHA Futurity Open Reserve Champion Gunners Special Nite. This is an opportunity to own a piece of an NRHA Futurity Prospect and go to the NRHA Futurity for a one-time fee.
