This 17th annual Quarter Horse News Reined Cow Horse Statistical review contains statistical information that was compiled, researched and tabulated by Equi-Stat, a division of Cowboy Publishing Group. The section was designed by the Quarter Horse News production department. Editorial copy was written by Rebecca Overton, Susan Morrison, Katie Tims, Robert Eubanks, Mark Thompson, Jessica Robbins and Teri Lee.
Money attributed to a horse is the amount of money that particular horse won and is no way related to who actually received the money. Also, monies attributed to riders are not the earnings of the rider, but rather monies awarded to all horses that riders rode in 2008.

Quarter Horse News appreciates efforts by secretaries and other officials of reined cow horse events to provide Quarter Horse News with accurate and complete results. However, this statistical review DOES NOT include payouts of every reined cow horse competition in the United States and Canada. If we are able to obtain results from any events we have missed, this information will be added to the Equi-Stat data base for use in future statistical reports and stories.
