Parnell Dickinson Inc. to Manage 2012 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales

The NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales, presented by Markel Insurance Co., is now under new management. Management company Parnell-Dickinson has announced that the newly designed NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales website is up and functional. The new website, www.snafflebitsales.com, already has a lot of pertinent information, including sale entry forms.

Jake Parnell was excited about growing the new partnership with the NRCHA. “The Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales are not only the world’s premier cow horse offerings, they are one of the strongest traditions on the West Coast,” he said. “We look forward to working with breeders and owners from around the country to once again offer an elite set of prospects and proven horses next fall. Having been involved on the marketing side of the Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales in the past, we believe there is tremendous opportunity in 2012.”

Jake Parnell and John Dickinson are responsible for all management and marketing relations, while Luke Parnell, CFO, takes care of all the financial and accounting duties.

Also on the team is Christina Ward, who will handle the entries and office management for Parnell Dickinson at the Snaffle Bit Futurity.

The NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales will begin Thursday, Sept. 27, with the Classic Yearling and 
Broodmare Sale. On Friday morning, the Select 2-Year-Old Sale will be followed by the Performance Horse Sale. Saturday, the Select Yearling and Broodmare Sale will kick off the final day of the Snaffle Bit Futurity.

The Sale Entry deadline is July 16.

According to NRCHA Sale Committee Chairman Sandy Collier, Parnell Dickinson Inc. will be a 
good fit for the Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales. “Not only do they know many of our consignors 
through their ranching and cattle backgrounds – they have also worked as ringmen for our sales
in years past.” She added, “They’re all very likeable and are working hard to make this year’s 
Sales successful.”
