The 2011 East Coast Reined Cow Horse Classic is coming to Murfreesboro, Tenn., July 12-17 and will be held at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum.
TMC is one of the premier facilities in the area and features a 150-foot x 300-foot air-conditioned arena, covered and open warm-up arenas, 492 stalls, 70 camper hook-ups and seats for almost 4600 spectators. Murfreesboro is located about 35 miles east of Nashville and offers numerous lodging, dining and shopping venues.
The Classic will kick off on Thursday, July 14 with the herd work and followed by rein work on Friday. The Bridle Spectacular and National Reined Cow Horse Association horse show classes will take place on Friday after the rein work. Saturday will mark the start of the Futurity classes with rein work followed by Derby fence work. Food and entertainment will be provided on Saturday evening. The show will wrap up on Sunday, with Futurity fence work and the remainder of our NRCHA and AQHA classes. There will be $30,000 added in cash and prizes as well as the East Coast Regional Championship.
