Ready, set, go! I’ve been busy, busy, busy trying to tie up all the loose ends before leaving for the NRHA Derby tomorrow morning. No sympathy? I know – rough life – I do get to see the best of the best in the reining horse business. Poor me.
Anyway, I hope I don’t get washed away, blown away and I do hope I don’t melt. You never know what the weather will be like in Oklahoma City. Heard it’s VERY hot – even by this Floridian’s standards. But by the looks of yesterday’s webcast, so is the competition. Can’t wait!
Have you been watching the FIFA World Cup South Africa soccer matches? Do you think I should pack my vuvuzela? Hey – they were a smash at the Marlin/Rays game last weekend at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami. Better yet, maybe we should save the vuvuzelas for the World Equestrian Games next September in Lexington, Kentucky.
Okay – I’m delirious. I told you I was busy, busy, busy. Gotta run. See you in OKC?
